If you thought the teaser trailer for The Shallows looked interesting, you will be completely terrified of the FULL trailer

We loved the feeling we got from the first short teaser trailer, but this new full trailer for The Shallows looks so terrifying and absolutely beautiful at the same time. You start out wanting to get into that gorgeous water, when you get these amazing underwater shots. Then seconds later you’re convinced you’ll never be able to get into the water again.

This could absolutely be the shark movie to match the legacy of Steven Spielberg’s Jaws from 1975.

The Shallows stars Blake Lively (The Age of Adaline) as the unfortunate soul trapped in the shallows with a shark.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan, House of Wax) and written by Anthony Jaswinski.

The Shallows will be out in US theaters on June 24, 2016

I write reviews and recaps on Heaven of Horror. And yes, it does happen that I find myself screaming, when watching a good horror movie. I love psychological horror, survival horror and kick-ass women. Also, I have a huge soft spot for a good horror-comedy. Oh yeah, and I absolutely HATE when animals are harmed in movies, so I will immediately think less of any movie, where animals are harmed for entertainment (even if the animals are just really good actors). Fortunately, horror doesn't use this nearly as much as comedy. And people assume horror lovers are the messed up ones. Go figure!
