Many horror fans know David Fincher’s movies such as Se7en, Alien³, Gone Girl and Zodiac. Now he’s back in the horror genre as creator of the new Netflix show Mindhunter.

Mindhunter follows an agent in the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, who tracks down serial killers and rapists.

The lead character is portrayed by Jonathan Groff (Glee and HBO’s Looking). The show itself is based on the book ‘Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit’.

The book was written by former FBI agent John Douglas. He’s been involved with some of the most brutal cases in modern American history. In other words, John Douglas has seen the darkest side of human nature.

The Mindhunter TV show is directed by various directors; David Fincher is directing the pilot, while our fellow Dane, Tobias Lindholm (A War, The Hunt), is also directing several episodes.

Mindhunter season 1 features 10 episodes and will premiere on Netflix Friday, October 13, 2017.

I usually keep up-to-date with all the horror news, and make sure Heaven of Horror share the best and latest trailers for upcoming horror movies. I love all kinds of horror. My love affair started when I watched 'Poltergeist' alone around the age of 10. I slept like a baby that night and I haven't stopped watching horror movies since. The crazy slasher stuff isn't really for me, but hey, to each their own. I guess I just like to be scared and get jump scares, more than being disgusted and laughing at the grotesque. Also, Korean and Spanish horror movies made within the past 10-15 years are among my absolute favorites.
