John Krasinski has written, directed and is starring opposite wife, Emily Blunt, in the horror movie A Quiet Place. And we’ve got the first trailer for you right here…

The plot for the horror movie A Quiet Place is still under wraps, but the trailer reveals this much:

A family living out in the country is forced to live in total silence in order to hide from an unknown evil that thrives on sound.

It sure sounds interesting and deliciously innovative!

We already know Emily Blunt can pull off working in the thriller genre. She was fantastic in The Girl on the Train, where she got to portray some darker character skills. A Quiet Place will be the first time she is starring in an actual horror movie, though.

Along with Krasinski and Blunt, A Quiet Place also stars Noah Jupe and deaf actress Millicent Simmonds. Jupe was last seen in Wonder and Suburbicon, where he was absolutely excellent. And Simmonds recently starred in Wonderstruck.

Get ready for April 2018

We’d heard about the movie but had no idea what to expect. After watching the trailer our expectations are now very high. This one looks absolutely breathtaking. Quite literally!

The horror movie will be released in US theaters April 6, 2018.

Watch the creepy trailer for A Quiet Place below…

I usually keep up-to-date with all the horror news, and make sure Heaven of Horror share the best and latest trailers for upcoming horror movies. I love all kinds of horror. My love affair started when I watched 'Poltergeist' alone around the age of 10. I slept like a baby that night and I haven't stopped watching horror movies since. The crazy slasher stuff isn't really for me, but hey, to each their own. I guess I just like to be scared and get jump scares, more than being disgusted and laughing at the grotesque. Also, Korean and Spanish horror movies made within the past 10-15 years are among my absolute favorites.
