During 2019, we’ve reviewed more movies and series than ever: 250. That’s 55% more than last year.
But we didn’t give out our top rating of 5 stars to that many movies in 2019. That’s not to say we didn’t love a lot of movies. We just didn’t give out many top-ratings. Let’s begin this “Best movies of 2019” with our best horror movies of 2019.

First things first, so we’re going to start with the movies we gave a top rating in 2019. That means 5 out of 5 stars – or blood splatters as it’s the case with our website. These are movies we loved, would recommend and watch again ourselves!

Not every movie can get a top rating, but getting 4 out of 5 is pretty damn good too. That’s why we’re also including the movies that managed to get this rating from Heaven of Horror.
