Be sure to check out our review of The Caretaker

We really loved The Caretaker, which was just released. Read our review and watch the trailer right here! The movie is available on iTunes and other VOD platforms right now.

The Caretaker - Sondra Blake

Full disclosure: The contest above is handled by Level 33 Entertainment, who are also releasing The Caretaker. Because we loved the movie, we jumped at the chance to offer one lucky Heaven of Horror reader, the opportunity to win this movie along with three other cool horror movies from Level 33 Entertainment.

We did however review the movie before being offered the chance to do the contest. We’re not in the business of writing good reviews to please anyone – just read our review of The Blackout Experiments, if you ever doubted that.

I write reviews and recaps on Heaven of Horror. And yes, it does happen that I find myself screaming, when watching a good horror movie. I love psychological horror, survival horror and kick-ass women. Also, I have a huge soft spot for a good horror-comedy. Oh yeah, and I absolutely HATE when animals are harmed in movies, so I will immediately think less of any movie, where animals are harmed for entertainment (even if the animals are just really good actors). Fortunately, horror doesn't use this nearly as much as comedy. And people assume horror lovers are the messed up ones. Go figure!
