Fantasia 2022 is one of the things I look most forward to in the summertime. This summer, you don’t want to miss the horror & genre movies at Fantasia 2022. The selection is, as always, awesome!
Obviously, there are a lot more amazing genre movies, than the five we’re mentioning below. But, this is a good start if you don’t know what to watch.

Glorious
GLORIUS is a mind-bending mix of comedy, horror, and sci-fi, starring True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten.
After a breakup, Wes ends up at a remote rest stop. He finds himself locked inside the bathroom with a mysterious figure speaking from an adjacent stall. Soon Wes realizes he is involved in a situation more terrible than he could imagine.
Deadstream
DEADSTREAM begins as a satirical take on THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT and then goes into THE EVIL DEAD territory.
A disgraced internet personality attempts to win back his followers by livestreaming one night alone in a haunted house. But when he accidentally pisses off a vengeful spirit, his big comeback event becomes a real-time fight for his life.
Next Exit
NEXT EXIT is equal parts ghost story, misfit road movie, speculative science-fiction, and heart-rending tragicomedy. Oh, and it stars Karen Gillan, Katie Parker, and Rahul Kohli.

Rebecca Hall is a big horror fave by now, and THE NIGHT HOUSE only emphasized that. Now she’s back in a new intense horror movie opposite Tim Roth. What’s not to love!
