Love horror movies with a 70s feel? Check out the trailer for Carnage Park from director Mickey Keating (Pod, Darling)!

Carnage Park (2016)The movie stars well-known horror faces like Ashley Bell (The Last Exorcism, The Last Exorcism Part II), Pat Healy (Freaks of Nature, Tales of Halloween, Starry Eyes, Cheap Thrills) and Larry Fessenden (We Are Still Here, Jug Face, You’re Next), with Mickey Keating (Pod, Darling) directing.

Carnage Park was shown at Sundance Film Festival and SXSW earlier this year, and IFC Midnight has just announced that it will be released on VOD and in limited NYC theatres on July 1, 2016. It will expand to Los Angeles theatres later in July, but we have no confirmed date yet.

Part crime caper gone awry, part survival horror film, this 1970s set thriller depicts a harrowing fight for survival after a pair of wannabe crooks botch a bank heist and flee into the desert, where they inexplicably stumble upon Carnage Park, a remote stretch of wilderness occupied by a psychotic ex-military sniper.

I usually keep up-to-date with all the horror news, and make sure Heaven of Horror share the best and latest trailers for upcoming horror movies. I love all kinds of horror. My love affair started when I watched 'Poltergeist' alone around the age of 10. I slept like a baby that night and I haven't stopped watching horror movies since. The crazy slasher stuff isn't really for me, but hey, to each their own. I guess I just like to be scared and get jump scares, more than being disgusted and laughing at the grotesque. Also, Korean and Spanish horror movies made within the past 10-15 years are among my absolute favorites.
