There’s a new British Zombie movie on its way, and you can watch the trailer right here.

The Girl with All the GiftsThe Girl with All the Gifts is directed by Colm McCarthy and stars Sennia Nanua, Gemma Arterton (Byzantium), Academy Award nominee Glenn Close (Fatal Attraction) and Paddy Considine (Dead Man’s Shoes).

The movie is based on the book by Mike Carey, who’s also written the script.

This is the plot for The Girl with All the Gifts:

What’s left of the British population, now hunkered down in Birmingham, tries to find a cure from a single, intriguing anomaly: a group of children who have developed into a hybridised half-human, half-zombie state. The cold-eyed Dr. Caldwell experiments on them to find a cure for the pathogen.

Director Colm McCarthy has worked mostly in TV previously. However, it has been on some very prominent and loved shows such as Doctor Who, Sherlock and most recently Peaky Blinders starring Cillian Murphy, who rose to fame with the zombie cult movie 28 Days Later back in 2002.

So far we only have a UK premiere date for The Girl with All the Gifts, which is September 23, 2016.

I usually keep up-to-date with all the horror news, and make sure Heaven of Horror share the best and latest trailers for upcoming horror movies. I love all kinds of horror. My love affair started when I watched 'Poltergeist' alone around the age of 10. I slept like a baby that night and I haven't stopped watching horror movies since. The crazy slasher stuff isn't really for me, but hey, to each their own. I guess I just like to be scared and get jump scares, more than being disgusted and laughing at the grotesque. Also, Korean and Spanish horror movies made within the past 10-15 years are among my absolute favorites.
