Mike Flanagan has delivered some pretty great horror movies – the latest was Hush – and now he’s prepping us for the upcoming Ouija 2 with a first trailer.

We also get an official plot:

“In 1965 Los Angeles, a widowed mother and her two daughters add a new stunt to bolster their séance scam business and unwittingly invite authentic evil into their home. When the youngest daughter is overtaken by the merciless spirit, this small family confronts unthinkable fears to save her and send her possessor back to the other side.”

Ouija 2 is actually titled Ouija: Origin of Evil and will debut in theatres in US around Halloween – more precisely October 21, 2016.

The cast consist of Henry Thomas (E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial), Annalise Basso (Oculus), Elizabeth Reaser (True Detective), Lulu Wilson (Deliver Us from Evil), Parker Mack (Faking It), Sam Anderson, Kate Siegel (Hush), and Doug Jones (Hellboy, Fear Itself).

My love affair started when I watched 'Poltergeist' alone around the age of 10. I slept like a baby that night and I haven't stopped watching horror movies since.
