The horror movie Slender Man is based on the fictional internet character, and now the first trailer is here.
The story of Slender Man began in a forum in 2009. He was described as a thin, unnaturally tall man with a featureless head and face, wearing a black suit.
He’s usually stalking, abducting or traumatizing people. Particularly children. Basically, he’s the stuff nightmares are made of!
Several video games have been made with the character, and in 2017 the documentary Beware the Slenderman was shown on HBO.
The documentary depicts the awful story of two 12 -year-old girls, who stabbed their friend 19 times. All because of Slender Man.
Now, the feature film Slender Man is set to hit theaters May 18, 2018.
The plot of Slender Man?
The movie actually has no official plot yet. But we know it’s about a group of girls who set out to find their missing friend when she’s taken by the one and only “Slender Man.”
And we know that it’s directed by Sylvain White, who’s primarily done TV.
Also, the title character is played by Javier Botet (read more about the rubber man here >). Furthermore, it stars Joey King (Wish Upon, The Conjuring), Annalise Basso (Ouija: Origin of Evil) and Jaz Sinclair (When the Bough Breaks).
It certainly has all the makings of a fascinating horror movie, so hopefully, it will deliver!
