We just got the official trailer for horror anthology Patient Seven, and it looks crazy!

Patient SevenThe horror anthology intertwines 7 award winning, short films by filmmakers from around the globe like Nicholas Peterson, Paul Davis, Ómar Örn Hauksson, Dean Hewison, Erlingur Ottar Thoroddsen, Joel Morgan, Johannes Persson, and Rasmus Wassberg.

This is the plot:

The film centers on Dr. Marcus, a renowned psychiatrist who has selected 6 severe mentally ill and dangerous patients from the Spring Valley Mental Hospital to interview as part of research for his new book. As Dr. Marcus interviews each patient, one by one the horrors they have committed begin to unfold. However, Dr. Marcus soon learns that there is one patient who ties them all together – Patient Seven.

Patient Seven is directed by Danny Draven (Ghost Month, Reel Evil). The cast includes Michael Ironside (Scanners), Amy Smart (The Butterfly Effect), Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), and Doug Jones (Crimson Peak).

When you watch the trailer, you’ll see that we might be dealing with more than mental illness. At least it looks like vampires are also a part of the story. Of course, they could be figments of the patients’ imagination, but it certainly seems like something more is going on.

Patient Seven is expected to be released this Fall.

Watch the crazy trailer below:

I usually keep up-to-date with all the horror news, and make sure Heaven of Horror share the best and latest trailers for upcoming horror movies. I love all kinds of horror. My love affair started when I watched 'Poltergeist' alone around the age of 10. I slept like a baby that night and I haven't stopped watching horror movies since. The crazy slasher stuff isn't really for me, but hey, to each their own. I guess I just like to be scared and get jump scares, more than being disgusted and laughing at the grotesque. Also, Korean and Spanish horror movies made within the past 10-15 years are among my absolute favorites.
