Check out the first look teaser trailer for Hulu’s upcoming TV show Castle Rock. The show will combine many Stephen King fan-favorite stories in new and exciting ways.

Castle Rock will be combining the stories of Salem’s Lot, Needful Things, Cujo, The Dark Half, and Gerald’s Game, which is a separate movie on Netflix now.

Also, we’ll experience elements from Creepshow, Doctor Sleep, Sleepwalkers, and The Dead Zone.

Of course, some of the most popular Stephen King stories (which have already been made into successful movies in the past) will also be part of the new TV show. Including The Shining, The Shawshank Redemption, Misery, and current box-office smash hit IT.

The cast of Castle Rock is full of people we know – several of them from previous Stephen King adaptations:

  • André Holland (Moonlight)
  • Sissy Spacek (Carrie)
  • Jane Levy (Evil Dead, Don’t Breathe)
  • Scott Glenn (Silence of the Lambs)
  • Melanie Lynskey (XX – horror anthology)
  • Terry O’Quinn (The Stepfather)
  • Bill Skarsgård (IT)

JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot and Warner Bros. TV are developing the show for Hulu. The psychological horror show will consist of 10 episodes and will premiere in 2018.

I usually keep up-to-date with all the horror news, and make sure Heaven of Horror share the best and latest trailers for upcoming horror movies. I love all kinds of horror. My love affair started when I watched 'Poltergeist' alone around the age of 10. I slept like a baby that night and I haven't stopped watching horror movies since. The crazy slasher stuff isn't really for me, but hey, to each their own. I guess I just like to be scared and get jump scares, more than being disgusted and laughing at the grotesque. Also, Korean and Spanish horror movies made within the past 10-15 years are among my absolute favorites.
