TIL DEATH DO US PART (2024) is a new Tubi thriller that takes place during a very exclusive wedding, where someone is committed to wrecking it. The title probably sounds familiar as many before it has had a similar or identical title.

For this new Tubi thriller, we’re getting a fairly classic thriller drama with a wild story, a filthy rich key character drunk on power, and a few fundamentally good people. It’s nothing groundbreaking but entertains well overall.

A fairytale wedding turns into a nightmare

From the beginning, we know safety and privacy are of the utmost importance for this wedding. We’ll soon learn why as someone clearly psychotic wants to ruin the wedding. Through various flashbacks, we’ll learn why this person wants to ruin the big day.

The man who is hellbound on wrecking the big day is extremely rich and has even more extreme stalker tendencies. It’s a fairly straightforward story about someone wanting revenge because they feel humiliated.

Starring in Til Death Do Us Part are Virginia Ma (Final Heist), Meghan Carrasquillo (Blind Waters), Dan J. Johnson (Escape Room), Luke Nieves, Maxwell Almono, and Greg Nutcher. Everyone in the cast delivers what’s needed, so they’re doing all they can. The story just isn’t great.

So many movies with the same title

While the title Til Death Do Us Part is a much-used one, it’s the only movie released in 2024 with the title—at least as far as I could find.

However, even when you search for it on Tubi, several movies with the same (or very similar) title will show up. In fact, we’ve even reviewed a Netflix sci-fi thriller series with the same title back in 2019.

Also, there’s a movie starring Megan Fox titled simply Till Death (2021). You’ll want to watch that one. It also has a revenge/survival story and works really well.

The director of Til Death Do Us Part is Nick Lyon. He previously directed several horror and thriller movies along with several classic Christmas movies. Hey, whatever pays the bills, I can respect that.

In terms of genre productions, he directed the 2022 movie Titanic 666, which has a title so cringey you just might want to check it out. Then again, the IMDb rating of 3.3 is sure to help you keep your expectations low.

Anyway, for this new Tubi thriller, the production quality is solid, the cast works well, and the entertainment value is certainly there. The story is – unfortunately – very predictable and all the twists and turns you might call early on will probably turn out to be spot-on.
