THE CREEP TAPES Season 3 is here. Or well, it’s starting now on Shudder and AMC+ as the third season premieres by releasing the first two episodes. I am still a fan of Peachfuzz, and while I do enjoy some episodes more than others, I always find myself surprised at some point. Usually, at least once per episode.

That’s not just impressive but virtually unheard of, and speak into the wild and quirky minds behind the murderous adventures of Peachfuzz.

Six new wild Peachfuzz stories

With each new season of The Creep Tapes, we’re getting bite-sized adventures of a maniacal and murderous serial killer. When the killing happens, he always takes on the alter ego of “Peachfuzz” and wears a wolf mask. Not any kind of brutal or realistic mask, but more like a kids Halloween wolf mask.

That’s Peachfuzz for ya.

His M.O. is always the same: Place an ad offering $1,000 to someone filming him. The reason and place always change. Sometimes he wants to pretend that he’s an actor or some sort of influencer. In episode 1 of The Creep Tapes Season 3, he wants someone to film him and his girlfriend getting it on while they’re on a boat.

Oh yes, it’s all very Tommy Lee and Pamela, but that’s a reference he won’t get. As a rule, this guy is always extremely socially uncomfortable and seems to exist in his own little world. That’s the magic and horror of Peachfuzz; He’s both a sweet, charming ingenue and a sadistically premeditated killer.

Kate Siegel opens S3 of The Creep Tapes

Watching The Creep Tapes has become a real treat as this series always features many awesome guest stars. In season 3, we’re treated to Scream Queen Kate Siegel right off the bat. She’s the photographer hired to film a sex tape on a boat, but nothing goes as planned. Of course, we all know Kate Siegel wouldn’t take on a role without some edge and “meat”, so she may have some surprises in store for Peachfuzz.

Also in S3, there’s an episode called “Nobody”, which offers a glimpse into the psyche of this serial killer, who cannot be reasoned with. Especially because it feels impossible to really know him beyond the Peachfuzz Wolfie persona. Well, the “Nobody” episode does offer a little more insight.

There’s also an episode that takes place on a private jet, which may be the funniest of all The Creep Tapes episodes to me. There’s a flight attendant named “Connor”, who delivered some amazing one-liners and brilliant moments with our serial killer.

If you’ve enjoyed this Mark Duplass character so far, I cannot imagine you won’t still enjoy the crazy adventures of Peachfuzz in this third season.

Season three is still co-written and co-executive produced by Creep and The Creep Tapes creators, Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice. As always, Mark Duplass also stars as PeachFuzz, while Patrick Brice continues to direct all the episodes. Guest stars in season three include Kate Siegel (1000 Women in Horror), Rekha Shankar, Jeffery Self (Drop), Nic Hamilton (It), Elliott Fullam (Terrifier franchise), and Ora Duplass (Their Town).

I find that it’s a little (or a lot) tricky to write a season review of The Creep Tapes. That’s why I am deliberately being vague and mentioning some guest stars and characters who stood out; You really don’t want to know too much about any of these episodes. They’re only around 20 minutes long each, so they truly are bite-sized and can be enjoyed as quick horror or genre-hybrid snacks.

I loved the Creep movies and have enjoyed the series version as well. It’s strangely comforting to follow this weird serial killer. You’d think maybe it was a Dexter Morgan vibe, but it really isn’t. Peachfuzz has no code beyond “You answered my ad” and wanting it all recorded. That’s his thing, and I really enjoy the simplicity of it. You always know how it will evolve and what the end result is. But the trip from beginning to end is just that: A real trip!

The Creep Tapes Season 3 has its Two-Episode Premiere on Shudder and AMC+ on September 15, 2026.

Plot

Season three continues to expose a collection of video tapes from the secret vault of the world’s deadliest and most socially uncomfortable serial killer (Duplass). Unfortunately, as the tape rolls, the killer’s questionable intentions surface with his increasingly odd behavior and the victims will learn they may have made a deadly mistake.

– I write reviews and recaps on Heaven of Horror. And yes, it does happen that I find myself screaming, when watching a good horror movie. I love psychological horror, survival horror and kick-ass women. Also, I have a huge soft spot for a good horror-comedy. Oh yeah, and I absolutely HATE when animals are harmed in movies, so I will immediately think less of any movie, where animals are harmed for entertainment (even if the animals are just really good actors). Fortunately, horror doesn't use this nearly as much as comedy. And people assume horror lovers are the messed up ones. Go figure!
