This February we get the Netflix zombie comedy TV show Santa Clarita Diet starring Drew Barrymore as a realtor with a bloody appetite.

Alongside Drew Barrymore (Scream), Santa Clarita Diet also stars Timothy Olyphant (The Crazies) as her husband, trying to satiate his wife’s undead hunger.

This is the official synopsis for Santa Clarita Diet:

Joel (Olyphant) and Sheila (Barrymore) are husband and wife realtors leading vaguely discontented lives in the L.A. suburb of Santa Clarita with their teenage daughter, Abby. Their lives change when Sheila goes through a dramatic change, sending their lives down a road of death and destruction… but in a good way.

In the series opener, Sheila dies but comes back. And while the couple tends to their open houses and daughter, they must also manage Sheila’s undead hunger. First with raw meat and, eventually, of the human kind.

I usually keep up-to-date with all the horror news, and make sure Heaven of Horror share the best and latest trailers for upcoming horror movies. I love all kinds of horror. My love affair started when I watched 'Poltergeist' alone around the age of 10. I slept like a baby that night and I haven't stopped watching horror movies since. The crazy slasher stuff isn't really for me, but hey, to each their own. I guess I just like to be scared and get jump scares, more than being disgusted and laughing at the grotesque. Also, Korean and Spanish horror movies made within the past 10-15 years are among my absolute favorites.
