Finally, the new Ghostbusters trailer has arrived!

After months of images and teasers about the new all-female Ghostbusters movie, the trailer has landed and it’s looking pretty damn good.

Sure, I’m biased since I love the cast and grew up on the original Ghostbusters movies, so I’ve been craving something new for a few decades.

See the trailer for yourself below:

Ghostbusters is directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, The Heat and Spy) and the new Ghostbusters are his Bridesmaids‘ stars Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig along with the Saturday Night Live stars Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Also, we’ll get to see the great Thor himself (AKA Chris Hemsworth) as their receptionist to complete the genderswap.

And it doesn’t end there since the film also features cameos from  Sigourney Weaver, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson and Dan Aykroyd – all stars from the original Ghosbusters movies from 1984 and 1989.

The new all-female Ghostbusters will be out in theaters on July 15, 2016

I write reviews and recaps on Heaven of Horror. And yes, it does happen that I find myself screaming, when watching a good horror movie. I love psychological horror, survival horror and kick-ass women. Also, I have a huge soft spot for a good horror-comedy. Oh yeah, and I absolutely HATE when animals are harmed in movies, so I will immediately think less of any movie, where animals are harmed for entertainment (even if the animals are just really good actors). Fortunately, horror doesn't use this nearly as much as comedy. And people assume horror lovers are the messed up ones. Go figure!
